its failing the registration of the cable. once its done it should keep. ive gone back and fourth between two pc with dhp and its worked every time since they were both set up.

make sure the cables are all tight too.

I tried XP and the driver works BUT I out of curiousity unplugged the DHP from the car while it "registered" and it did the same exact thing as it did when it was connected therefore it is either the tuner that's bad or the usb to serial cable.. Just has me stressed cause it worked yesterday now it won't

it has to be plugged into the car, car key turned to run, not running, just on. or wont wont register.

pretty sure its getting power from the obd2 port. check that fuse, for the cigg lighter. maybe it blew? or test it with a phone charger or something.

Your missing the point I tried like normal didn't work.. I disconnected the cable and it did the same thing as when it is connected.. so it's either the cable or tuner
