The last time my car had some changes done to the PCM was when it was down in Indiana with Trannyman95 getting one of his awsome transmissions.
at the time mods were 3"DP/plog/3.4/al104's/thrasherCAI
ive since added 2.5" catback, headers, and 1.9 modded rockers.
i havent seen KR in a lonngg time..

my question is, with my timing being set at 11* as is. what sort of power gains would be expected granted i can get to my target 17* timing??
    thanks for the help yall!

    ^^^ agreed.

ill try to run as much as i can. but in my situation i have no access to tuning software and im not about to spend $400 on a local tune...
i just figured 17* would be a semi-safe number. i would be in heaven if i could run over 18* KR free

do you have a scanner atleast? why i ask is if u know a local around the area that has a PT or HP tuner they can unlock your IAT spark advance. once u have that opened and have it adjusted accordingly to either add/subtract timing based on what the IAT is registering. the next step would be is cut off the iat sensor functionality itself and reroute the wires to something that u can fake what the ambient air is to the pcm. what u can replace the iat sensor with is something that can adjust the frequency or ohms the pcm reads from the sensor that it incorporates into temperature. a really good tool is whats known as a potentiometer(just google-search it) or nicknamed a "pot". that way u can add/subtract timing whe in PE/WOT if u see KR or not. its basically what a "happy knob" as well as the timing change on the ICCU does.

    ^^^ thanks for the input.
yes i have a scanner, if you wanted to see some logs i could post some up..just a 1v sensor though for now.
i was mainly intrested to remove the skew from my front cyl's from when plog was on.
    up timing overall 5-6*
raise idle up just a ball hair.
since my o2's seem ok and LTFT stay pretty close to 0 WOT i figure why change anything else when i would possibly hurt more than i could help. know what i mean?
