I just recently purchased my first car a few months ago. It was well kept and with only 65K miles on it. I only plan on keeping the car for 5-ish years, until I finish college(I doubt I will be able to sell it for any value then). I am looking at this as a learning car, how to fix and improve.

I would like to know how I could go about improving, I.E. quicker acceleration and higher top end speed.

P.S. I live just down the road from Atco Raceway, so I wont be racing plastic mustangs, civics and super cars on the streets....
