    I just got done rebuilding the entire top end tonight. It started up just fine, but, as I expected, the check engine light was on. So, I went to connect my scan tool to pull the codes and it would not connect. I've never had this happen before, and yes, the ignition was on. What would cause that? Thanks!
    2002 GTP: K&N, 3.2 pulley, flipped mounts. ZZP SS headers, 180 stat, NGK TR6's, MSD wires, Reptile ported TB, ported S/C, ported LIM, Intense Stage II heads with larger Manley severe duty SS valves, Yella Terra 1.9 full roller rockers, LS6 springs, Racetronix fuel pump re-wire, Oil pressure "kit", JMB FWI.     Check you cig lighter fuse, if that is blown, no OBD 2.

    On 04+ you would check the onstar fuse and tell Drunkie to put it back in.

    The cigarette lighter works and I've checked most of the fuses. So far, I haven't found anything.

    Bill, funny you mentioned the On Star fuse. I was thinking about removing it. lol!

    After more time with the car, I noticed the following: ABS, SES lights are on, TCS defaults to off and won't turn on, the DIC flashes zeros on all settings, and there is no boost display. Did something get shorted out? Did I miss something? Otherwise the engine runs pretty nice considering it now needs tuning.

    No. The A/C won't turn on either. It did sit for eight months without power--if that makes any difference.

    Fixed! I forgot when I was making my fenderwell block off plate, I disconnected the round harness that the upper brace holds in place so I'd more room to work with. It's dnyo time!! Whew! Thanks for your help guys!
