I posted this on the other forum so I thought I would post it here as well:

I know the normal process for recovering a bricked PCM but I thought there was another way to do it?

I thought I did something last time this happened that involved entering 1's for the VIN or something of that nature? Can anyone remember the process or have any tips?

I thought once a pcm was bricked, that was it for that pcm. I have one in my trunk right now that I'd love to save. How is this done/possible?
