I am about to order a PCM from overkill. The current mods that i have in my care is exhaust, headers, and CAI, and i always run high octane fuel. Now should i also change to a 3.4 pulley before i install it. Or does it matter? Thanks for any response.

I searched for this question in the forums, and didnt find an answer.

if you want to use a 3.4 pulley order the pcm, then when you get the new pcm, then install the pulley.

im asking if its necessary to put it on for the sake of the PCM. I dont really want to drop the pulley size if i dont have to

i dont know if its even worth paying for tune with just the headers and intake. add a 3.4 and a tune and that should wake it up some.

im kinda new to this tuning pcm thing. What is the difference between a "tune" and getting a PCM? would it be easier just emailing overkill?

Also i do have a dynomax exhaust on it. If that matters.

    Thanks for the responses

when you order a pcm you order it to your cars mods, so it runs its best.

when fairly stock like you are just a canned tune is a waste. a in car tune would help fine tune your engine.

canned tunes are a base line tune,( for added mods) what works "ok" for most cars, and every engine is different. so a in car tune is always best.

your in del. we got some locals fairly close by who tune. NJ pa ct. and a few shops that in car tune as well.

google would be your best bet. look for speed shops, performance shops. or post a thread looking for a local. <<<would be the cheapest route im sure.
