Thread: Did some tuning today

JoshMcMad helped me out and showed me the speed density portion and explained the MAF. I got my feet wet and I feel way more comforatable now fooling with stuff. It was awesome!

Thats good to hear. LOVE it when people give of themselves and time to help others out, makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

this community would have gotten no where without people helping eachother..

haha agreed, Joshua couldn't have been a better teacher and he even said he would make more time in the future for me... I didn't even have to ask

That is what this game is all about, fellas. Maybe not here specifically, but car forums in general have done tons for me, and I just try to pay it forward when I can. Quicklynx is really getting ahead of the learning curve and will be a tuning master in no time.

My invitation is open to anyone who would like to use my software that lives in the area. I'm confident enough that I can help anyone with their VE Tuning. I think I def have it down by now, and over the past few days driving back and forth from work, and class, I've been taking logs on the way down and fine tuning the VE.

All I ask is you cover the cost of credits it would take to purchase your vehicle. Tune for free otherwise!

i just got done doing a little VE and MAF tuning yesterday with a friend of mine. he has a couple small programs that someone (???) created and it automatically adjusts your tables according to the scan you take and you can just post it in. do it a few times for each and it seems to get everything nearly perfect.

Actually Josh had an excel program he had made to help us out as well. It did exactly what you said Bio.

IIRC the guy that has the rights to the Powrtuner got mad and decided not to allow the extra bin modification that Eddie's Table Modifier Thingy used to allow.

Meh. I just use it for MAF and VE table which you can import and export manually if you had to. I'll eventually use it for spark, which it does too. What else do you need?
