so my friend recently did a full build on his whole car. he had a 2000 gp se with a topswap. one day he decides to pull the motor and trans and build them up. now he buys a 2000 gtp rolling chassis to put this motor and trans in. his trans has all the hard part upgrades, new gemini chains, stock l36 torque converter, and a hd diff upgrade. so he has a 3.29 gear ratio obviously. i copied all his trans files over to the gtp pcm and it he got a code for incorrect gear ratio. i put the trans files back to the stock gtp files and i changed the speedo tab to 3.69 and did the auto calculate option or whatever it is. it shifts pretty good, and feels nice. what i am concerned about is that his stock final drive sprocket ratio is 1.000 and the gtp is 1.121 does this matter? also what about a stock l36 tc with a l67 trans file? would it get to hot? what do i need to change? reason being is because he got a p1571 code and i think its because of the trans file. his fuel trims go super wacky and so does his timing when this code is present. is the pcm not getting the correct speed signals?
