Hey GPers, I have a late model 2008 Gp SE. I want to build the hell out of this car but at the moment i am held up by the lack of a tune. Now, I have been all over this site and two others including GPONA with all the same results, such a people telling me about getting a new pcm with a tune that wont communicate with the late model cam buss. Ive tried will overkill and to the point of even in a full conversation with will about this but no such luck. Does anyone have any ideas how to tune the late model 2008 Ac delco pcm's?

It wont happen, Im sorry to tell you that it's just not do-able at this point in time. I was in your exact shoes, and I dealt with Will on it, he sent me a pcm that was Delphi and the car wouldnt even start, just cranking and cranking. He reverse tested it by putting an AC delco pcm in his 2004 with a Delphi stock, and again the car wouldnt start.

I even contacted a few GM resources and searched all over, it's just something that cant be done right now.

I traded mine for an 04 comp G, lol... that's the only real way to do it. Will suggested to me that maybe if you switched out all of the other computer modules with a Delphi one, that could help in theory.

08's seem to be un-tuneable because of the new can bus system.

What do you need tuned? Most of the crap that is done can be done mechanically elsewhere, and a check engine light doesnt really bother me most of the time.

They're "un-tuneable" because neither HPT nor EFI live would make any return on the investment.

    Please do.

You'll find you'll have much more aftermarket and it'll be easier to get better 60's.
