A dealership scan tool could. But your generic obd2 scanner won't.

I just installed my ECM from Overkill and my check engine light is on, called my local GM Stealership, and they acted like they had no idea what a case re-learn was. I explained I have a tuned ECM in and they told me the only thing they would do is reset it to factory settings. They will not even mess with any aftermarket ECM and let the car leave the shop without the stock ECM settings.

What the heck do I do now? Only GM dealership in the area - called them twice to re-explain but I get the same answer. Two local shops I've called don't have the tools to do a re-learn.

Why resurrect a thread that is over 6 months old just to hijack it? Take your car to Autozone or Oriellys and have them scan it for you and pull the codes.

This was the "Newest" thread I found discussing case re-learns. All of the threads were old........then if I start a new one, someone tells me there is already a thread and I shouldn't have started a new one. My post was about case re-learns and from what I read, so is this thread.

Yeah there are tons of them, but resurrecting old threads and hijacking them is still usually frowned upon.
