Hi guys. I have an 04 gtp and I am going to finally get it tuned. Im going to dyno tune usa in south dakota to andy tune it for me and I know he will do a great job, but I just want to know if there are any standard things to have him do? Like bump trans pressure, what temp do most of you normally set the fans for. Just stuff like that that he may not be used to on these cars since he does the big hp cars most of the time. As always thanks for any and all info!

don't touch the fans unless you do a tstat.

you could bump trans pressure a tad.

    how modded are you?

I did a compression bump to 9.5, cam, headers, 180 tstat, one step cooler plugs, 3/4'' phenolic spacer under the sc, smaller pulley, opened up the lower intake, 255 pump, water meth injection and will have 42.5 lb injectors in once the tuning starts. I was thinking about 210 for the fans to kick in

Find calibration and flow specs and their tolerances.

You'll want to run around 16* timing with an afr in the low 11's.

Then find the smallest pulley you can run that without kr even after heatsoak.

If your tstat is a 180 youll want fans around 185-195.

Have the 3rd-4th upshift speed moved up in the 12.5% or more throttle fields. Unless you like accelerating in 4th.

Don't really need a lot of tweaks to the torque converter.
