Well I'm back decided not to do anything to the car just yet, put a new battery in and fired her up today. It's a 99 Grand Prix GTP, it's been sitting for 3 years, I put in a new battery, and replaced the melted off SC tensioner pulley and slapped a belt on her and started right up. The car does have a u-bend delete that I had installed a while ago, and some gauages etc. Well as I was playing around with the scanner in HPT I saw that the oil pressure shows a negative 15 psi, now my guage on my piller pod told me all day that it was running around 50 psi, I can't remember if I took out the old oil pressure guage to use the one on my pod or not, but anyway it has made me concerned. I did get it to hit me with a SES light today, didn't have scanner plugged in at that time, came home plugged it in and didn't really show me anything just told me everything was immature. Anyways waiting on laptop to charge up and going to go for a ride and create a log. I havent adjusted anything on the pcm yet, I noticed that rather extensive write up on tuning with HPT, should I go ahead and do all that stuff?

I'm confused. You are looking to a oil switch, which can't give you a reading. Your actual gauge is there because you can't get a good reading off the factory switch (which is not a sensor on the W body platform) An odd reading from HPT for it would be considered correct/normal.

Everything is immature...well that's fine and dandy... codes is it saying are immature?

Don't touch a thing until it's got some time on fresh fuel and you have scanned and know what is happening.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
