This is a write up for everyone that has just purchased (you need the paid version) the torque app and needs some help setting it up.

First off open the app and go to the settings menu.
Then toward the bottom of the menu select Manage extra PIDs/Sensors.
Click add predefined set and select Pontiac/ GM/ Opel/ Vauxhall.
Then uninstall the app then reinstall it.

Open it back up and go to the main menu and click realtime Information.
In here you will setup the sensors and parameters you want to look at.
Touch the screen and hold for a few seconds and a menu will pop up.
Click add display and you can add everything you want to monitor.
I have all mine set as Digital Display you can do as you see fit.

The most important things you want to check are Knock retard and probably your long and short term fuel trims.

Any suggestions will be added, let me know.

Hey, can you do up a video? I want to do this, but need to see if it's worth doing.

I was wondering what people are using to get their boost numbers. In vehicle profile you have to put in a boost adjustment # but the ones they suggest all seem off. What are you guys using? thanks

Did you load the pids? I didn't have to put in any boost adjustment numbers.

That's what you have to do for the pids to work.

hopefully somebody can come back to this thread, so i followed the instructions and uploaded the pids, uninstalled and reinstalled. PIDS were still in there but it comes up and says Profile: Not set up. Now when i go in there i know the basics (fuel tank capacity, engine displacement etc..) but things like boost adjustment and volumetric efficiency %? What the hell goes there?? lol Anybody that has an 04, chime in please. I'm lost and want to get this up and running.Well i went out to my car and tried using it. It seemed to be working fine. it connected right up using 6789 PIN and i set a few gauges up to scan and i took it around the block. I punched it a few times and seen the KR spike up to like 2.2. I'm not sure how normal that is? i was just scanning HP and intake temp's as well. Seemed to be working fine but with no other source of scanning i cant tell how accurate it is. What can i do about the KR. My car is completely stock with a drop in K&N panel filter.
