Be sure to switch the settings to psi, mph, gallons etc, the base settings are all basically metric.

I watch coolant temp, timing advance, intake temp, (just for ****s and giggles) trans temp, (important one) kr of course, boost/vacuum, tcc slip, and tach.

Edit and commanded afr which is kinda not accurate cuz I don't have a wideband. I'd watch fuel trims too if I had any clue what they meant.

Ok great. What should the values be at for normal?

Like for the gauges you are currently using?

I want to use this thing more but need to know what should I be checking.

Never knew about the timing advance and the sft and lft. What does that mean?

Long term fuel trim and short term fuel trim. Should be +-5. Timing advance. Everything else is kinda different car to car.

I stopped using this app because I did not know what the values should be but with this thread getting restarted I will look again.

Ok great, this is why I wanted to revive the thread for the sole reason of helping others know what the values should be and to have a means to check their car.

Values depend on modifications, tune, vehicle state of health, the immediate vehicle operating conditions etc.

So whats the list of items you want to know about?

Also: how do you guys find the update speed?

I cannot decide between suffering with an aeroforce again or buying another OBD2 adapter to use this app.

Never used it with one of our vehicles, however the other vehicles I used it with did not update quickly enough unless only one or two parameters were being logged.

By quickly I mean more than one time per second.

Ok cool I'll jump out there,

My car is slightly modded with a downpipe, exhaust, plog, CAI. I have a custom PCM tuned by reptile that hasnt been installed yet. The parameters I've been checking is

LTFT,STFT (both of these said -1.6)
KR (only a 0.3 blip on full wot)
    Various engine temps.
    Vacuum (cycles through 18.5-20.3)
    And just added timing adv.

What should the values be for my mods?

Also the update speed is pretty quick for the ODB2 adapter I'm using. I can give u the link if you like.

LTFT/STFT should fluctuate between +/- 3, lock in close to 0 at WOT.

KR should be zero, timing at WOT should be around 16* granted there is no KR. Timing can get as high as mid 40's with aftermarket PCMs in very light throttle situations but typically mid 30's in cruise is more moderate.

Vacuum should be just over 20 in Hg with AC off, in park. More throttle you give it, less vacuum you should see. Should be very close to zero at WOT. If that parameter reads boost in PSI, seeing 5 PSI at 4000 RPM and up to 7 psi at the top of second gear is considered normal for a stockish GTP.

Just the name of the adapter and a video of the update speed would be sufficient.

Can somebody please help me. i followed the instructions on the link and uninstalled and reinstalled it, but how do i set up my profile. I dont know all the numbers i'm supposed to enter in some of the boxes. I have an 04gtp. Do i need to set up a profile?

Well i went out to my car and tried using it. It seemed to be working fine. it connected right up using 6789 PIN and i set a few gauges up to scan and i took it around the block. I punched it a few times and seen the KR spike up to like 2.2. I'm not sure how normal that is? i was just scanning HP and intake temp's as well. Seemed to be working fine but with no other source of scanning i cant tell how accurate it is. What can i do about the KR. My car is completely stock with a drop in K&N panel filter.

another interesting question for this app is how accurate is the 1/4 mile feature? has anybody done a real 1/4 mile at a track with a time slip and compared it to the torque app to see if there is a difference?
