How hard is it? How much are they for decent ones?

In my area I have to drive real far to get my pcm tuned and then it costs a lot to get it done. I'm not gonna go super crazy with modding but if I drop a pulley and then a few weeks later port my tb or something I wanna be able to tune when I can. Not drive an hour and a half and then pay 150.

DHP tuners will run around 300 bucks. ( not made anymore, must find them used)

HP Tuners will run 500. You will get 8 credits aswell when you buy it.

Tuning is not easy and takes a long time to learn and no one is a master at it.

HPT has a huge forum loaded to the brim with how to's and stuff to read and to get a basic picture of what is involved.

If you are willing to buy them, you must give alot of time to learn.

    Buy book.

    Read book.

    Read again.

If you feel confident in your knowledge about why you're making the changes, then you should be able to tune.

If you don't, then you might be better off paying for those services.
