bringing this back as I have a little info to add here...

since they are so cheap I went ahead and got 2 sets of the 103s... I gaped one set to .05 and left the others at the gap they came with (looked pretty small, maybe like a .03?) did some testing on the same day and temperature with the same engine temp...

did alot of city driving along with some cruising and WOTs and played with the gaps a little...

Here is what I found and was quite surprised...

after a full tank of gas and a few hours of driving to figure out what the best plug gap was for my car, I discovered it ran the best on a .045 gap!!!

I originally gaped one set myself, left them inside, and had my room mate bring me one of the sets to eliminate any "placebo" effect. Then, after each drive I had him change the gaps and write down whatever gap he gave them, then bring them back out. did this over and over till I found one that was the best. looking at the gap and kinda eyeballing it, I thought the one that ran best was the .050... but wasnt.

1.the .045 gap had 0 misfires at an idle lambda of ~1.1(PN and G) where as all the other plugs had a few (or alot).
2.seemed to have the smoothest acceleration in average driving
3.seemed to pull slightly better using my "butt dyno"
4.(this may be due to the new plugs in general but didn notice this much change after my plug change last year which stood out) I gained 1mpg in city driving with no changes to the tune.
    5. my AFR ratio is also way more consistent than before in any given maf herz

the only constant between them all is 0KR at any given point...

Now, should everyone running e85 run out and change your gaps? of course not, but, after my findings Im saying it could be worth looking into...
