Hey guys, I know theres gotta be someone on here that can help me

I have an 04 gtp, The tune currently is terrible , I can smell it running rich as hell and only getting 13.8 mpg,

    Mods: 3.3 Pully
Intercooled (idk what exactly yet getting info from last owner)
    Tuned by zzp
    Ceramic coated headers
    NO cat 3in downpipe
    Back to dual Flowmaster mufflers

Im broke as all hell and dont know what it should cost me to get her tuned if i put 42.5 lb injectors in ( last owner included them for me) And idk about the smaller pully yet but its an option

Hope someone can help ! thanks

I'm pretty sure on the 01+ they run a cat diagnostic and will dump fuel until the cat tells the rear o2 to stop. Maybe your car is doing that all the time.

I don't think they make an o2 sim for the 2004's. If your running super rich and your injectors are as you say "maxed out" why would you want to go with bigger injectors to dump more fuel? I would leave it the way it is until you get a proper tune.

    04s are bastards...

I could look at it, but I would probably have to charge you a bit more than my normal case of beer rate, and you would have to come down to genesee county.

Well... I never actually would take that as payment, I was more or less saying I work for nearly free most of the time...

If you wanted to be involved in some of my 04+ open loop testing, I could convert your car to open loop.... otherwise you would have to work on making sure your exhaust doesnt leak at all.

If you want me to do some troubleshooting and no major tuning work, I could look at it some time this weekend if you wanted to come down my way. I work on the north side of flint (live on the south side) so sometime during the week around 4:30 would be a good time to meet up with me as well.

Been tuning my 2004 this past week now that my tuner is fixed up.

Closed Loop = PCM calculates and applies fuel trims (STFT & LTFT) to make realtime fueling adjustments using the o2 sensor.

Open loop = fueling is based on pre-programmed tables in the PCM and adjustments are NOT made.
