Re: Deka IV (4) 80# injectors?
I think I am just going to start off slow. lol
-Change the IFR table by scaling it.
-MAF tune.
-Mess with other stuff IF I'm having issues.
Only question I have..I have a Magnafuel adjustable FPR and have read some put the same IFR number across the whole table. Is that number the 100kpa number from the scaled table? The local guy who tunes says he runs his car on E85 open loop and has an Fuelab AFPR and doesn't have the same number all the way across the table and his runs fine?
Re: Deka IV (4) 80# injectors?
IFR is quite simple, tell it what the injectors will flow. If your FPR is boost/vacuum referenced and fuel pressure raises 1 psi per psi of boost then it should be flat.
If it isn't raising at a 1:1 ratio then your IFR will not be flat, it will be sloped.
You can also make it run by adjusting the MAF to compensate for almost any IFR table as long as they both make a smooth transition.
Or you could get the AFR you're after by changing the PE adders.
Re: Deka IV (4) 80# injectors?
was reading on HPTuners that raising FP with boost is not the best way to go about it though right? for our apps anyway?
Re: Deka IV (4) 80# injectors?
Link?
Because you dont have a choice with our stock FPR.
It also lets you run a higher overall fuel pressure (more flow in boost) and easier to idle ( less flow in vacuum).
The only thing I've heard is very extreme setups running more PSID in boost than out.

I'm not so convinced.
A MS uses a set dead time referenced at one voltage such as 14V then uses a multiplier to adjust for different voltages.
The min pulse width has no multiplier (at least that has been mapped) and would also render the offset vs voltage table redundant.
The MS doesnt use a multiplier table?

My bad Matt... that was for an e85 conversion that I was thinking of... irrelevent sorry
