I have a 2004 GTP, and I'm also on mnclubgp and alot of the tuners on there won't touch my pcm because they say 04+ pcms are weak. I have some mods such as headers, colder plugs, msd wires, zzp 1.0 pcm and I just ordered 1.9 rockers-so I dont have these installed yet. Just wondering what kind of advice do you guys have that I could do for a GOOD tune. Also thinking about dropping to a 3.5 or 3.4 pulley soon as well.

Your local tuners sound dumb. The only one who has figured out 06+ is overkill and he ins't sharing his secrets.

Get HPTuners and do it yourself.

Thats the problem I dont have the time/money for hptuners. Full time student and work. Also dont have that much money to drop on a tuner.

If you can't afford a tuner, you shouldn't be modding bro.

I'd bet that's because they're using DHP tuners and they don't have 04+ tuning capability. 04+ is very tuneable, you just have to know what you're doing (like most things right?).

Not sure what Charles unlocked in the software for everyone towards the end. I know he went and unlocked 98-03 for everyone but I don't believe the average DHP PT has 04 or 05 support unless it was paid for. I've got a commercial DHP license so everything's unlocked.

I'm able to write to 04/05's with my PT. Cleaned a couple of codes off and written is about all I've tried though. Typically I use the HPT.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

any DHP works with 04/05, i use it often.

05 drives me nuts because there is no partial write support... I refuse to do overly custom work on an 05.... the crazy 04 I am doing is bad enough.
