I still have problem with cold starts. My car starts up and idles fine, but as soon as I throw it into gear (reverse or drive), the RPM and timing drops bad and it will stall. Sometimes it doesn't happen right after going into gear, but as soon as I touch the throttle, it gets no throttle response, and the RPM will drop. I have to press the throttle quite a bit to prevent it from stalling out, and the RPM will shoot back up. After about 1 minute of driving, the car is fine and never does it again. I have a scan of it dying this morning after putting it into reverse. Around frame 482 is where the problem begins.

    Here is the HPT scan:

With the SS M90 kit, should I have all the GTP injector control tables copied over? My Flow Rate vs KPA is the same, but both my offset tables are very different from the GTP ones. My acceleration enrichment tables are also quite different from the GTP ones. Not sure if that would affect this.

Check battery cables (especially positive) for worn insulation and a a short actually remove it and hand inspect it I had the same problem and that was it.

I had a bit of this and some bad idling. A VE tune helped greatly. There is some refinement at idle etc that some of the tables do effect.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

My car won't even run with an unplugged MAF. Not sure where to start. Don't know if my values are too high or too low.

Anyone have a VE table of a car with an aftermarket cam in it? Just so I get can a general idea of where to start. I'd like to see your spark table too!

if you have a BIN file i can take a look at it. do you have different injectors? MAF? like i put in the PM figure out the diff between stock and what you have and use that to help dial in a new VE and see if that works

also did you copy your good spark into the bad spark? with maf unplugged it defaults to the bad spark table.

****looking at the log, shouldnt the O2's be moving up and down? could the O2 sensor be bad?

and i wouldn't mind looking at the hpt file now... forgot about tiny tuner it should open it.

I have a BIN, but almost all the changes are on the HPT file. I have GTP injectors with a L67 throttle body and MAF. The good spark has been copied over the bad spark. The reason the O2 wasn't cycling was because it's in open loop. I'm replacing my O2 sensor anyway because the car runs lean in closed loop, and I have a feeling it's gone bad. Tiny Tuner will only open BIN files.

I had a similar issue like this on my 99 gtp. Except mine would sometimes randomly do this same thing instead of consistently like yours is. My problem was in the fuse box was for lack of a better term worn out, the fuel pump relay tabs were actually not contacting all of the plugs in the relay slot. Sometimes when it would not start or have an issue while driving and i could wiggle the relay and it would be fine again. I ended up just twisting the tabs so it would contact while i saved up for a new fuse box.

I'm honestly tired of all the problems with my car. I'm going to part the thing out and just buy a GTP.

It might b a transmission Sensor that probably would cause that problem. check how much fuel ur getting and how much spark u have. maybe ur coil packs could be bad. just guessing.

IIRC when the MAF fails the car runs off the V/E table. It all depends on what it is set to in the file.

Sounds to me like you have a bad MAP sensor. If you set you V/E and spark tables to stock but the car still won't run with the MAF unplugged, I would get a new (used) MAP sensor.

Although you would think that would possibly set a code. I would still go to a junk yard and pull a MAP sensor and check it out.

I would also clean your MAF.
