Okay, I have a .HPT file (my current tune), but I want to edit some warmup spark tables in Tiny Tuner. I have the bin for my OSID, but if I try open the file in HP Tuners, it wants me to use 2 more credits. I heard if you change the serial number and the VIN to match my current file, HP Tuners will read it and write it to my PCM with no problem. When I open Tiny Tuner and open the bin file, I click Tools and "Change Vin" and "Change Serial Number" are greyed out. I can't select them. I need to figure this out!

Ok.. I'm going to recap so that I'm sure we agree on what is going on.

    You have HPT and TT.
    Your current bin is HPT
You would like to use a different bin
Your HPT is open for your vin only.
Your new bin is not your vin (because I know where you got it)

And .. you'd like someone with a DHP to change the Vin on the new bin to your vin and then send it to you so that you can use it with your HPT.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I won't be near my powrtuner laptop all weekend.

In all reality, anybody can borrow a powrtuner cable and copy of the software from someone, fire it up and plug it into a vehicle and you then can edit bins or look at them anytime after that, without the cable.

I don't know anyone close to me with a Powertuner. No one is going to let me borrow theirs.
