Curious as to what kind of MAF values NA people are seeing @ WOT (lb/min) on both the stock intake and/or an aftermarket CAI? Trying to figure out if I have something weird going on with my MAF.

Just looked at a recent scan from an '05 N/A 3.8 with an eBay cone intake and SD headers. I saw a max of 24.0 lb/min @ 6095 RPM.

    Hope that helps.

EDIT: Just went back and looked at an old scan of the same car before the headers and intake and saw pretty much the same value. It was 24.2 lb/min @ 5980 RPM.

Yea that helps, my values seem to increase without too much oscillation up until 5,000 RPM. At that point it gets pretty rocky, peaks at 36 (lb/min) jumping down to 27-29 in a few tenths and sometimes hundreths of a second. Not sure if that is normal variation or not, frequency seems to jump 400hz or more in some cases. I'm doubting I have any leaks so maybe it's the MAF or wires

Just to be safe, take a look at your throttle position at the times the MAF signal is jumping. The electronic throttle may be closing to limit torque for some reason. If everything looks good otherwise, you may consider cleaning or replacing your MAF.

Man you just hit the nail on the head with that one I think. This pretty much ties everything together and makes a lot more sense. My TPS % has been janky since I installed the NON-OE TCM,ECM from Overkill. At idle I'm at 20+ % and at WOT it's barely hitting 81%. My WOT pulls have felt seriously weak and I've been throwing P1516 which is TAP vs commanded throttle position error. It's being command 100% but TPS is only showing 82% so the code throws. It will reset after some time but any WOT stabs past about 75-80 MPH will set the code again.

I'll be getting the original TCM, ECM back this week with the fix and a different MAF. My current MAF screen is slightly dented in the center and I'm picking up a free MAF so I'll just swap out the entire housing. I'm curious to know what the OE modules and some programming can do to remedy the P1516, apparently it's happened frequently with the 08 LS4s that he has tuned. He's confident though that it will get fixed.

    Thanks for the input
