Getting huge 2-3 second delays when tapshifting from 2nd to 1st as if I were engine braking. The car drops into neutral then slams back into gear. Any idea if this can be fixed with a tune or if I should be looking for wire issues. This trans has 3,000 miles on it...literally. Doubting it mechanical in nature.

My friend had his tranny in his gxp replaced at 60k. He said after the new one was put in the tap shift response was so quick. I have a delay with nine too. I'm not sure how you can quicken the shift. It would be nice tho. Maybe a pcm reprogram?
