On a 99, is there any other changes I need to make to the tune in order to remove the rear O2 sensor besides disabling the dtc codes for it in the fault type and fault enabled fields?

Nope, just disable the DTC and the COT (cat over temp) in the tune.

HP Tuners has COT if I remember right.

Cat over temp is a table in the computer that when activated will richen the fuel mixture up to cool the cat converter down if the computer thinks it's too hot. It will try to save it from melting down.

With the cat gone the table can be disabled to prevent the computer from adding fuel at random.

in dhp you go to fuel, then base fueling, then you'll see the cat temp. change it to 248.
