Alright so i went out to my car a 2000 GP Gt with an Intense tune. After dining out i get into my car and i can tell the power was out because i opened the door and no lights came on. So i popped the hood and disconnected the battery and then reconnected it and the car started. After driving home i noticed the shifts were slower almost like when they were stock. So i decided to see where it shifted at WOT and it went to 6000 Rpms like it usually would with the tune. Did the disconnected battery mess with anything in the tune?

Disconnecting the battery will not change the file in the PCM, but it will reset everything that the car had learned. The car learns different things based on how you drive it. It will go back to the defaults and have to relearn everything if you disconnect the battery for long enough.

    I agree with Silver GTP,
SAme thing happend to me, I accidently erased all the what the computer had learned and was compensating for my transmission that has 150k, and let me tell yea, it shifted like mush. fortunatly, I was working on shift firmness and timing to begin with and was able to bring back, and also make it shift better than ever by adding only 2-5 psi to the shift pressures, and reducing shift time by .25sec. I also added 10% minumum duty cylce to the TCC to help it hold under load.

So basically the tune i just paid for lost its use? I could tell the difference when i first installed it that the shifts gave you more of a jump and now it just seems weaker. I plan on a top swap coming up soon and dont want to have to tune it every time my battery dies

You didn't lose your tune. I had my car off with out a battery for a couple days and my tune was fine.

As said the car relearns. It has adaptive shifting. Give it a day and it will be normal.
