I dont think this has to do with actual pcm tunning but it still has to do with tunning its self just wanted to get that clear, now since i have been moded and i have got myself to the 3.4 with supporting mods stage, i am gonna be needing to do some tunning, now scotty(syntheticshield) has sent me on the right path to get my pcm tuned or whatever by overkill motor sports, which will is a verry nice guy to talk too anyways i told my friend what i want to do next which is slp headers and a zzp stage one tb, and i want to drop my pulley to 3.3 but he told me i should be doing some good tunning, now that's where i am lost, so basically what is tunning, how does it work, what do i need like an hp tunner, and can any average joe do it right ??? Thats where im at. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

"Tuning" is exactly that. Modifying the fuel, spark, torque management, etc etc etc. Basically a PCM can only adjust so much on it's own. Will does excellent job at his custom PCM's, but if you really want to maximize your gains, and don't mind a relatively steep learning curve then a type of tuning program is what you're looking for. HP tuners is probably the best for the money. I've got an old DHP Powertuner that isn't made anymore, but it gets me by. If you're willing to learn and read, then Get a program to do it, if you don't want to mess with it, I'd suggest Overkill.

    That's just my 2cents
