    On the page you linked to, it says...

    The OBD-II cable is designed to be used in conjunction with ElmScan family of interfaces (or other interfaces, which isolate your computer from the vehicle's electrical system). Plugging the cable directly into the PC may damage the serial port.

    Well i guess i should remember what i read form now on. thanks for reminding me what the page said completely forgot bout it.
    Mods:3.4 pulley + recommended mods/ F-Body Front & rear GXP Calipers/ GMPP handling upgrade kit + otto strut brace/ SSC Gen 1 Springs on GR-2 struts/ Verde 5 18x8 Rims
