went and bought their electric fuel pressure gauge with the amber/white lighting, but i read their instructions and their wiring schematics i understand are somewhat too vague and not fully detailed. i am in question on where to tap/splice the wires from the gauge for it to work. the fuel sensor itself i have installed on the fuel rail. however i had to order fittings to connect the fuel sensor to the schrader valve. i also already removed the needle inside the schrader valve FWIW. my concern is why i can power on the gauge at all

there are 5 wires, red for switch 12v, black for ground, orange and white for the function of the amber/white, and lastly a green wire to run to the electric fuel sensor. the electric fuel sensor itself has 2 terminals, one for the green wire and the other to a negative or grounded source.

i tapped the red wire into the red wire off my boost gauge as well as the black wire from the prosport to the black/ground wire off the boost gauge.

the white wire, according to the instructions, says to connect it to the parking lights which IIRC is he brown wire off the parking light knob.

the orange wire i looked underneath the steering column and tapped into the orange(skinny wire) as again, according to the instructions, to connect to an accessory wire. the orange wire is the heater 1 accessory wire IIRC.

the green wire i soldered and extended it thru the firewall and connected it to the correct terminal off the fuel sensor and the other terminal i attached a wire to the chassis.

now when i turned the key to prime the system, nothing happens, i doublechecked all the butt connectors for any loose connections but found none. i was at least hoping at least see the needle power on due to the fuel being pressurized if the lights arent working, but again nothing happens ? maybe i have a faulty gauge? any help is greatly appreciated.
