if you do decide to switch, im not sure why you wouldnt have success. you just need bigger injectors (possibly better fuel pump) and a tune. im not sure how the GTOs react, but is there any specific reason why youd want to do it n/a? the real gain for e85 is on boosted cars...
You will lose some mpg, but there is a good amount of power to be had with E85. Initially it takes 30-40% more fuel to run, and a few changes of the fuel filter. Its basically a serial killer when it comes to killing knock.
I would like to one of these days, but dont have it offered in town. Also hptuners doesnt support all the needed injector tables for the 3800 like they do with v8s.... but I proly will try it out to see how much timing i can run,
I will be running it when I get my car back together.
tiny tuner? Didnt know it was out there, where can i get more info on it? Yeah unfortunately people only scale the injector flow rate and use a maf tune to cover up any promblems...
thanks got it downloaded. looks like i cant use my bin from hpt. so i have to find a bin close to my car modify with tiny tuner then flash it in with hpt? I didnt read much on it yet so im not familiar with it. looks good though
there was a way to do it with hpt (eddie uses hpt) just gotta take the dot off on the bin file at the end or something little like that.
