Thread: Need 1.5 Bin File for 2001 GTP

As the title says I need a 1.5 DHP Bin file for a 2001 GTP. Friend of mine has a tuner but can't find a bin file yet. Need it for another friend with a 2001 Special Edition. If anyone has one I would greatly appreciate it if I could have a copy.

The DHP 1.5 is a vendor file and I'm sure covered by copyright.

Yes, it is covered by copyright. If you are looking for the file for your car, you can contact DHP and they will send you one. But the Tuner's Guide gives you basically the same setup as the 1.5 file.

And also, the 1.5 is not an end all tuning file. I chose even not to run this file at all. I started tuning from stock. I tried the 1.5 file on my car and my wifes, and both had loads of KR. So I just tuned in the correct manner and have 10x a better tune than the 1.5 would give me. They may be a good place to start for some people, but they are nothing near a good tune.

Check out the Tuner's Guide...it gives a step by step that is very close to the 1.5 file.
