with pe mode off or hot set at 100 i still have ltft in the +7-+12 range in the uper range of both my maf hz and rpm. i cant get these numbers lower no matter how far i adjust my maf frequency. still new to tuning so am i doing something wrong here.

you can try going into your Injector Flow Rate table and adding % there
For corresponding MAP value...
this will tell the computer it needs to stay on a bit longer to deliver the desired fuel.
I have to disagree here, this is not the proper way to tune the car. your trying to cover up another issue with somthing else.
first off
You need to know how much your injectors flow at the psi they are receiving at the rail with out the fpr hooked up (o vaccum) then enter the correct injector size into the table. then maf tunning can be done, also make sure you have the laminar flow unit. and if your using hptuners set the cell hits required to somthing like 10 that way you get more accurate info, also use the filter to filter out when you get off the gas as the car runs leaner once your off the pedal. One last thing use percent half also.
hope that helps
What mods do you have? How long are you driving after resetting fuel trims? Which tuner are ya using?
nope. didnt work. kept increasing a little by little with hardly any results then went all out and added 25%. this brought them down to +8 but the car hated the idea. also a lot of this (but not all) is happening over 100kpa and the tuner wont let me go that high. what do i do....also realized can bring this number down by setting timing back although had zero kr where it was at.
Figure this out yet?
Possible fuel pump, fuel filter issues?
just can't keep up with the demand?
Do you have a custom tuned PCM? if so, whats the OSID?
I had that problem with my PCM, cause 01+ they have a cat diagnostic test.. that constantly runs if you dont have a rear o2 sensor.
You got a rear o2?
yes i figureed it out....fuel pressure regulator. u should see what happened when i put gas in the car...releasing the vacuum in the tank freed up the pump and the pressure regualtor couldnt handle it....use to send my fuel trims to -29 long and short at the same time. where i got gas affected it too. sheetz gas would give me average fuel trims of -5 while country fair would be 0.
