Is there a really easy, plain english guide to the Powrtuner? Something with simple step by step directions to the basics? Scanning, case learn, first time set up, writing the 1.5 file? I have had a few people ask on my site, figured this would be the place to go for answers.

We had a few members get them used for real cheap. They arent planning on any tuning, just want to be able to drop in the DHP bin and put it back to stock if needed. Plus to use it as a scanner.

    Thanks!!

There is a thread that is called something along the lines of Jerry's Notebook Wikified or something like that which is going to be about as close to what you are looking for out there. If you find that thread and visit the link it will take you to the notebook and all that good information.

I don't think I've come accross the 1.0 bin yet, but the way I learned was just to fool with it constantly. You really can't understand all those directions without toying with it.

I would not touch it if you have to ask this question. This is not for amateurs one wrong move one wrong setting and you could destroy your motor.
Dont screw with it if you dont know what you are doing. I have seen to many people here blow there motors because of it. Find some that has experience and plenty of tunes under there belt

Ya gotta learn sometime. Better on your own stuff rather than someone else's.

If you take baby steps and study, things can turn out for the best.

I got mine in a package deal with someone that was demodding. Never planned to use it since I have a local shop that does my tune work. I use it as a scanner mainly. Wasnt gonna pass it up for $100. Im ordering a pair of Aeroforce Interceptors for my A-Pillar, so I'll prob sell the PT
