I am looking for the stuff on the forums and found the Performance Shift mod or where you can have it active on the How To's. But it refers to changing something in the PCM. I dont see a sticky or where I can learn how you need to do this programming to the PCM.

    Any help would be appreciated.

In order to use the Performance Shift, you have to have a PCM that is set up for it (it was removed from the GP in 2001 I believe) and then wire it in. You can get a tuner package and do that as well, but its cheaper to just buy a PCM (Overkill Motorsports PCM for example) and hook up the performance shift, for which you will need a shift handle that has the performance shift button on it.

Its not hard to do, but you have to have a PCM with the performance shift programming in it. I had to add it to mine and other than running the wire, it was a piece of cake.

Actually, it is still in the PCM, but not turned up to the specs in the programming....A Powertuner will be able to turn it on once the wiring is done.
