yippie!!!! anybody recently purchase DHP or zzp pcm for their 04 and up car? the reason i'm asking is because i want to know if the 180* fan turn on. i bought zzp pcm about 2 years ago and at that time there was no file for it. i'm just wondering if the file is now available.

Well its not for an '04, but I bought a ZZP PCM probably a year ago and my fans turn on at 180* and when I turn the car off stay running for 60 seconds after I turn it off if its above 180*

I changed that 60 seconds though to 90 seconds.

Im not familiar with the 04+ PCM's to be able to accurately answer your question unfortunately. Maybe someone with some experience in tuning those will step in here and help out. I cant imagine the 04+ being that much difference in that regards, but having a tuner would be an easy way to tell.

If its not turning on at 180* then Id definitely say that it was not programmed. I bought my PCM specifically for that reason because at the time I was running a tad warm because (at the time I didnt know) I had a partially plugged radiator thanks to Dex Cool.

The option is available for the 04+ with the powertuner. I just checked out an 04 bin file and it was in there.

I have an 05 with a DHP pcm and when I scan it with HPTuners, I see what is in my attachment for the fans. First pic is the DHP setting, 2nd is stock settings. Hope that helps what you're looking for.

Yes you can set the PCM to turn on at 180. I use the PT but the HPT will do it too as shown above. If you're unsure check your Themostat guage on the dash. My fans will turn on if the dial is above the 5th line from the bottom (first small line after the long line). That is approx 186 deg in an '04.
