Not sure if anyone else has done this, but the general idea is that you need to download the ancient version of some software to ensure the DHP v1.23 (1.24) can run.
(PowrTuner/PowerTuner software linked elsewhere here, but feel free to discuss other install/use info that hasn't been mentioned recently)

Some of them I had on old drives, others I had to dig out...
DotNET v1.1 - Download Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package from Official Microsoft Download Center
Jet DB 4.0 - Download Jet 4.0 Service Pack 8 (SP8) for Windows Millennium Edition (KB829558) from Official Microsoft Download Center
MDAC 2.8 - Download Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 SP1 from Official Microsoft Download Center
Keyspan (Tripp Lite) driver - USA19HS | Tripp Lite

You may get some questions from Win10, but just install as-is rather than compatibility, etc. If something here doesn't work for you, feel free to bring it up to the handful here still messing with these.

This was my last time probably installing this, and will go to HPT at some point, since DHP (Charles) has faded into the background while HPT still goes on. Plus, I have a couple other vehicles that will enjoy some tuning.

Ahh DHP... There are still several things I prefer to that over HPT.

I've been able to run DHP PowrTuner on a Windows 10 laptop. Same software setup as dezldave961, on a Lenovo Thinkpad T450s.

Only issue is when doing logging, sometimes it doesn't want to save the log file.

Ya, I recall that being a bug in the scans. I used to bounce between UVScan and PT scanning, depending on which I liked setting up more. PT was good for large gauges, although you can increase row size in UV, too, but it's less bold.

I'll update with any issues when I'm back up & running soon.

you'll want to use a wideband so you can see actual air fuel ratios.

I've been using DHP on windows 10 for the last year. All I did was install 1.24 version and dotnet 1.1 framework and I had no problems. But I just got a new laptop that I haven't tried it with yet, so we will see how that works.

I know this is an old thread, but it certainly helped me get this DHP to communicate with my Win 10 laptop.

Thank you everyone in this car community.
