Re: Tuning issue or electrical issue?
And do the stock gt and gtp have the same accumulator springs? I know the shift kit specified which springs to use depending on the torque converter size. I don't have anymore springs for the gt but I have two gtp accumulators

if its installed wrong. maybe. ive not had to install one myself yet. last tranny i got used had one installed, the new one i got now also came semi built. got everything you'd want in a built tranny, but the hard parts.

I could throw in a stock gtp one if the springs are the same as the gt

I’m pretty sure they are the same.
Re: Tuning issue or electrical issue?
I swapped in a stock gtp accumulator and have the same issue still, if not maybe a little worse for some reason. Could just be the cold weather about the worse part it was 22 out

Re: Tuning issue or electrical issue?
Also take a look at the brake light switch. I have had issues starting on my 98 Regal, Car rpms would jump up and down, came to me with new plug wired nut old plugs in it. Original trans acted up then went out, knew it would as fluid was burnt but I was getting insurance settlement so I wasnt worried. got about 2500 out of it then installed new trans and had same "jiggle" And cruise would drop out occasionally but reactivate.
So in summer of '13 when I was still current on snap on I got new scanner and hooked it up looking for the misfire/rpm jump issue and saw the brake PID was like an O2 sensor reading. Step on brake pedal would stop issue(should have put 2 + 2 together buttttt) then when saw the PID I put toe under pedal, seems at cruise car was riding just rough enough to cause pedal to vibrate so I readjusted brake light switch, tada, now issues till it got totaled in Dec 15.
Re: Tuning issue or electrical issue?
Brake Switch as Monza says makes alot of sense. Simply put, the brake switch causes the TCC lock up/release etc. and the brake switch was NOT in the donor car......so the current brake switch COULD in fact be the culprit, as it was not from the original car the engine came from. Nice job Monza, :th_thumbsup-wink: seems as if this is the OP exact issue to fix his dilemma. Hope what you said helps him so he can then go and..... :burnrubber0: .
