    So I've been hearing through the grapevine that the AVT will no longer be setting up AVT boxes for use with DHP.
    An engine is an engine no matter the size.... I think Dr. Seuss said that... or maybe it was Big Weld....

    thats the word on the street. one guy bought one anyway and im not sure if he figured out how to make it work yet or not. last we heard form him it was not working.

    I think it would require a firmware or software change. When I talked to the guy about them back a couple of years ago and asked about stock he said he could configure one and ship it the same day. So I'm guessing it's a pretty simple change (for him).

    We discussed this a while back in the other thread. The long and short of it is that there is some DHP-specific code in the EEPROM that the box gives to the PowrTuner software during the cable registration process.

    I can see that code by using the AVT Hex application, but without the right instructions, I don't know how to change it. AVT doesn't give that information out unless you're a distributor or something.
