Digital Horsepower Inc.'s Powr Tuner hasn't been available new since 2011-ish. You can either wait for one to pop up used in the forums, or get HPTuners instead.

wrong,,,,, you can still buy a new avt box to this very day. you need to email them, tell them its to be used with dhp, and off you go. http://www.avt-hq.com/price.htm#Accessories

After that you'd have to find an old version of the software still, since the AVT won't come with it and DHP stopped supporting it, right?

Since there are a few listed, which one of those AVT boxes is used for DHP? They all seem pricey.

When was the last DHP software update? I didn't see any of their software on their website...

damn you just hate dhp? software its out there for free, and it works just fine. avt box costs $250 new,,,,tell me how much hpt is again? oh thats right 550 to start.

dhp can also be used on any supported w body for free, no credits to buy. but thats where it all stops, its only good for w bodys.

I don't hate it at all, in fact I've always heard good things. I was just asking out of curiosity. I always wanted to pick up DHP and have both to tinker with.

$250 isn't bad. Was the software ever distributed as free, or could there be legal action taken over the use of it?

Does DHP have 04+ support? I know that HPT struggled to get past 05 for a while, but now does 04-07.

support ends at 05. best to use a off board rig for 04 and 05, cause they are finicky and like to brick pcm's by tuning via the obd2 port.

all i know is if you google for the dhp software you'll find it listed for free. ive got 3 versions in the drop box, all work.

I am tuning my 04 with DHP and/or TinyTuner. It works. Best case is to pull the radio fuse or do an off-board. I pull my radio fuse when I read/write and so far haven't had a problem yet. I do wish I had a few more tables but I am trying to figure out how to add them.

Buy the AVTbox, download the software from dropbox, and away you go. Grab TinyTuner so you can edit tables that DHP doesn't have. (You save the bin in TinyTuner then burn it with DHP.)
04 GP GT- top swap, VS cam, 2.8 pulley, E85, headers, 60 injectors, TEP 3:29 trans, Racelogic Traction Control, ZZP dyno tuned.
