What's the deal with the 06gpgt pcm's? Tried tuning it and it wouldn't accept the file. This was with hp tuners and the proper credits. Also tune was from same guy that tuned my 98 and a friends 96 and his 06gto and regal.

did you read your pcm first? then mod that file?

06 is kinda a bastard year for tuning. iirc most use a 05 pcm. overkill has got it figured out iirc too.

So flashing an 05 pcm with the 06 file will work. I dont know much about tuning. I know he pulled the factory file as a backup and proceeded to overwrite with the tune from hp but it wouldnt accept it.

i think they run a 05 tune and pcm. some crap about the canbus system added.

try to flash your stock bin back, if that one takes mod that bin and re flash it.

you can also check that the osid # and the vin # are the same on the new hp file and your stock one you saved. if hp was a number off that could be why it wont work.

other then that, i'd contact HP directly.

2008 was the only can bus year.

As said 06-07 grand prixs should be supported, if you have issue with reading and writing those tunes you must contact HPT directly so they can figure out and fix the problem.
