Hey guys, i have a few questions that I would appreciate help with when using/installing DHP.

    1. How do install DHP software onto my computer? I have a windows 10 machine, i just did the 1.1.43 .NET Framework install. What service packs and such do i need to run the program with?

    2. What is the best scanning software to use? Free is for me lol

    3. Can anyone direct me towards a decent guide on how to tune using DHP??

just about everything for dhp you need is in here. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/npa8brtuzoq3qps/jqYuBP0cv-

if you dont have the interface you just bought yet, dhp dont work till you register the interface.

no idea wtf that is. alli did was install the 1.1 dotframework bs, install the key span driver for my os, then set the com port and its speed.

either way, you cant do a thing till dhp is unlocked. it needs to be hooked up to the car, key on and the lap top to register it.

Oh Jesus so many files! So I did .NET framework, and I installed DHP but you are right, it wants registration first. After that I do the updates to get to v2.3??

any version you install needs to be registered. dont matter what one you use. no need to start low and upgrade to the next one. want 1,2,4 use it.

What the hell are bins and how do they relate to DHP? Are they just base tunes or something? I'm gonna install the newest version of DHP and then make a copy of my ZZP PCM for a backup first.

A .bin is the file extension of the tune on your PCM. basically it is the file of the PCM that contains the calibration. its the file that you edit when tuning.

Make sure to install the Keyspan driver before you try to use it as well.

How do I do that? Just plug it in and let it install drivers?

Nope, download and install the drivers from Keyspan before you plug in the interface.

http://www.tripplite.com/support/downloads/type/9/tab/2 you need a USA-19HS driver for your OS.

some have a drive assistant that you need to set up with the comm port and speed, needs to mach dhp's comm port and speed, and you need to figure out what usb is that comm port. #, then you can only use that same usb port for your dhp.

Hey Scotty, what do you use to scan the PCM and log? I have heard something called UVScanner, that correct? install along side the Powrtuner software?
