I decided to trade the Fusion in on this bad boy here. It is a 2015 GMC Sierra Z71 off road package with the 5.3L V8. Good for something like 360hp and 390 ft-tq.

It is Sonoma Red in color with black cloth interior. It is a double cab with the 6 foot bed. With the ability to run on 4 cylinders down the highway should get a solid 20 ish mpg on highway trips.

It was the most loaded Sierra double cab on the lot. So that is nice.

I got to drive it off the showroom floor too. Only had 3 miles on it.

My little brother has a 2015 Silverado...basically the same thing. At 55mph it got 23mpg. At 70mph it got 19mpg. Not bad for a full size truck but I still thought it would do better.

friend of mine just got a chevy 3500 crew cab dump for work, its to damn nice to be a work truck lol the interior looks to be the same but the gmc looks to have chrome rings around all the gauges on the cluster. wheres there only around the speedo and tach.

ive always like the look of gmc's over chevy. so needless to say i love it lol

hey heres one for ya to check. your front bumper, it it metal or chrome plastic? my friends 2015 is metal, but his brothers 2014 is plastic lol

So you got the 8 speed auto right??

I hear they are pretty nice, though the 6 speed that I have is just as good.

Good trucks overall, I just couldnt spend the money on a new one as it was 10-12K over my price range. Even though you can get a nice one that not all decked out like a SLT/denali/LTZ package for around 33-35k before tax.

you guys have that hill start assist? its the damn coolest feature ever. when on a hill when you let off the brake to hit the gas the trucks brakes hold the truck there till you hit the gas, or till about 5 seconds passes, then it will unlock and roll back.

I know thats not an option on 07-13's, must be a 14+ or a heavy duty option

Love that color. I work at a dealership for Buick/GMC. Should've gotten the all terrain package those look sweet! I recall getting roughly 26mpg highway on a 40 min trip going 65/70 mph...

This one has the hill start assist. It is also just a 6 speed auto. No 8 speeds here.

'Grats on the new ride. First thing you do. Repeat after me. DISABLE AFM. Screw the mileage claims. You will thank me around 60K if you do.

I haven't heard of the DoD/AFM being an issue yet on the new ecotec 3 direct injected V8's yet.

But I still got 19-20 with it DoD shut off in my truck, maybe helped my get 1 mpg better in town with it on.

That might be something to look into. I bought this truck to be a truck, and not a 4 cylinder gas sipper. I order up a K&N CAI for it. That will be my first mod. The engine in this thing is so quiet I can barley hear it compared to the older trucks. I had a 2010 GMC sierra 6.2l, and that thing screamed. I miss that.

Shoulda gone with airaid, saved you some cash dollars.

And I don't like open filters on the trucks, stock box flows great. Just that intake tube stops all the sound.

11 years on my K&N FIPK, never an issue. Although, I don't play in the dirt with my truck.

Cam is correct, the Airaid costs a lot less and adds more power than the K&N.

Neither add any horsepower. The only (perhaps) benefit is deletion of the helmholz resonator. Oh, and the noise, so I'm told. Cant actually hear anything over my exhaust.
