Got some time to build some brackets and now looking at what will fit? Still need to install blower but need to change blower shaft seal. Found that after after installing the new oil?

Just a heads up for people pulling a old blower puller. Pull the snot and use a press. I used a puller and bent the pullley. And damaged the puller. On the the press it was at 10 Ton's ,and then a very load pop. Then it pressed like I thought it would. Some wear on the seal area, but I think it will clean up. Bearing are smooth and could be reused.

Now I will need a new pulley. Maybe one that can be changed ? Maybe I will go to the ceramic bearings?

your supposed to use a special puller for the sc pulley. hell i bet you could make one with your fab skills. check zzp's web site, they rent and sell the puller. and have a pic of it. wink wink lol

May have been just my turn?
I have been pulling blower pulleys on our SC motors (Mercury Marine) for years with it.
Maybe it just had one to many? I think it just had a little bit of rust ? And that will stop it DEAD!

Oh well ! Now I get to play with pully size!

I've never had a stock GTP pulley come off without bending. I've used ZZP, Intense, 3800 Performance, and Thrasher pullers.

Nice project though! Looks like you're doing it right.

pretty sure it gets pushed on flush to the shaft like a stock pulley.

you got a mps system just to be clear?

    Flush it is. Thanks.

Also just looked a the new pully and it is a 8 rib. Wish I could use it but I'm cheep.

Why not the turbo, I guess I just like the look of the blower? I will leave the turbo for my 1994 JDM Sti.RHD.

you can use it still, you just ride the belt at the outer edge and let the 2 ribs on the pulley show.
