Can you use a 2 bar map from a stock l67 car on a n/a car or will it not work with the pcm?

I understand it may be more work, but I'm going to modify the firewall.

    Why..

Wht makes you want to modify the firewall more then the blower. Is it because of the pretty paint?

Availability and price of tig welding aluminum where I'm at. This has been a budget build, and molding the firewall will be quite easy with the engine out, I will cut out a section, and bolt in a recessed plate for clearance. If I lose my defrost controls I'm not going good to sweat it. Just seems like an easier option, my buddy is going to weld a Stainless elbow for me and thermostat housing.

Snow did it without any welding.... cut the blower, drilled tapped holes, silicone, some random 3in flat plate fittting and boom. Done. Talk to him and for the love of god dont cut the firewall. That is sheer stupidity.

Don't hack up the firewall. Just save up the extra couple of hundred to get it done right.

My cost of modifying the blower the right way with all the pipe couplers tap bolts silicone everything was under 100$. Zero aluminum tig welding.

If you talk to Dave at TEP he might mod you a blower. I emailed him awhile back and he was willing to do it.

GUYS! I do appreciate the input, but on this aspect of the build I will not be modding the blower case. Lol. If it does so happen that this doesn't work out I will for sure try to contact someone who can modify it. Then yall can say I told you so right now I'm still trying to teach myself tuning with dhp, that seems like the most complicated part of this build. Here's to hoping that 2 bar map will work, and that I can use the stock maf sensor.

BTW the bottom end is from a low mileage l26. What do yall recommend with a pulley size? I'll be running an aem progressive methanol kit along with the other mods.

Neat setup man but you may have ruined that m90 case trying to port it.

Why would it matter? Map sensors are not used for fueling in any form.

    Just leave the 1 bar.

It's not going to work without hacking half of the TB side of the blower case off.

You might as well put the stock intake manifold on and turbo it.

Would be cheaper, and the car would be faster.

Tuning a l36 car for boost requires changing 2 tables and adjusting the injectors for whatever injectors you install. If it takes more than 20 minutes to get a perfect tune on that car you have other problems.
