Hey guys, what supporting mods do you usually need on a l67 car to run a 3.0 pulley? This will help me in my decision on pulley size choice for my build

headers, cam, and a ic would be nice. you'll want to work down smaller to smaller while scanning for kr, and of course it needs to be tuned for all that.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

How well do stock style head gaskets hold up to these boost numbers(and piston rings)? Lol I know a lot of dumb questions, but I'm trying to stick with stock style graphite head gaskets, those mls gaskets are pricey

Most guys never ever touch the bottom end nor do they remove the heads.

Well that's good news, but I am running higher compression :/ and as for e85, what is the benefit to running it as opposed to 93?And would 42 lb injectors and a 255 fuel pump support running e85 with a decent tune?

Meh, doesnt matter. The stock gaskets are just fine.

Only things to really worry about is how much boost you want to run and keeping enough fuel going in, you don't want to have a chipped piston.

e 85 has higher octane, so it helps keep KR down. lets you drop pulleys with less worries about chipped pistons. its like a ic for a 93 pump gas car.

Oh OK so e85 and meth injection would be a little overkill for trying to cut down on kr, meth and 93 would suffice correct?

Hey guys so its been a while and I haven't posted any updates because I haven't really gotten much done, been super busy with work lately (tire kingdom). But I did finally clear out and organize my garage where I do all my work so thought I'd just show you all some pics of my work area lol. I've been collecting parts more and now have more than half of what I need. I also have a new set of bfgoodrich sport comp2's going on the camaro (275 40 17) it gets so damn hot here in Florida, every time I go the garage I open the door and go...... **** this is too hot..... Close the door and leave hahaha. It needs to get cooler out so I can get stuff done.

Alright so ive been terrible with keeping you guys up to date with posts but ive made some good progress. The old motor is now out and new one ready to go in. Anyone who has done the swap, what did you do about the map sensor and purge valve solenoid? Is there a vacuum line diagram I can follow for this? Oh and I'll be able to tune this thing! Just got ahold of an old laptop with dhp powrtuner on it! But if anyone can chime in on the map sensor/vacuum lines/ purge valve please let me know! If you want to see the current progress you can just check it out on the fb page facebook.com/kyle.lyster I don't feel like taking the time to post it all up here lol.

Hope you've done a lot of work to mod and make the supercharger clear the firewall and bring the TB around.. and figured out the solution for your thermostat neck.
