Car is done up nice and all...and sure it's fast...but it's still a neon. you could have a 426 hemi swapped in running low 7's at the track and...it's still a neon...
If it's not at least a modern 8 cylinder or classic with 7.0L or more in displacement it's not worth my time. 98% of cars are meant to DD (not mod), the other 2% belong on a track. And if you wanna go real fast...forget cars altogether like i did. toss a hairdryer on your bike...that's an entirely different breed of speed right there...
Boosted 4cylinders with a mean cam sound sick at wot. Way better than any gp. Just sayin.
Sent from my iPhail
Nice Srt4. My buddy use to have a orange one a couple years back..I believe it was a stage 2 but was pretty quick for a skittle..fun little car until he got deployed to England and ended up selling it over there since he couldn't enjoy it like he wanted to and getting parts where a pain.
how did i make myself look like a idiot dude? guess ur one of those dickheads that need to read first before talking, that whole statement was ansering what other ppl said, sounds like **** but still a fast car, deal with it and stfu, argument over, ****s getting pointless now
This car trapped 135? lol...
So Im like, who is this guy in the Slobalt talking crap about my trap... Then I re-read the thread..... Then changed my tone.. " This nice young man in the Cobalt caught my boo-boo"
My old SRT went 11.9 @ 121 on a 50 trim, and 11.48 @ 125 with DRs, milking 1st and spinning second with a 2.03 60'.. did not use WOT box or 2 step..
So that was my bad on the 135, it should have read 125 trap
Should also mention I guess the car was never raced with the Zeta 3.0, nor with slicks
IMO could have and should have been a 10 second car, with a driver that could actually get a 17 60, and get through 1-2
I'm actually a closet fan of these cars, almost bought one instead of my current dd.
Did have a funny run-in with one years back. Guy bought one made a touch over 400whp and all his friends were talking crap to me. He was cool though.
So we touched off and it wasn't pretty for him. Easily bus lengths. They thought i just had i/e. Lol pullied and spray at the time.
oh yea, nice ride.
Nice SRT4. There's reasonable dude that drives a burnt orange colored one around here that would give me more than I could handle on a roll, or so I hear. The other 3 or 4 I see rolling around from time to time are driven by assholes, I've enjoyed dragging them down i90 on occasion.
so many haters on here omg
Most ignorant with slow ass cars.....
like 75% of the people on this forum. this is so true it not even funny stop bashing on the guy lol
thanks guys.. Yea I wasn't a fan of neons, but this little thing grew on me lol
Not easy being a guy driving a car like this in a town of rednecks, muscle cars and mud trucks.. Even tho I got alot of hate, there were many more positive comments
Im used to people picking apart the car, and it sometimes is quite humorous.. After doing a few roll races on the highway and walking all over a new 5.0, they flicked me off, and yelled out, "its still a neon ya Fa##ot"
Hmm
Ok....
soooooo, Did this so called "fa##ot" in a neon just kick the piss out of your $40,000 "muscle car" ...
Never got the chance to say it to him as he and his boyfriend were to busy giving me the bird and flying off
Only car that was ever close was ironically a 2013 Roush Stage 3 ... Neck and neck from 40-140.. and that is one mean badass sounding car I might add.. I heard his supercharger whine the entire race, then I let up and heard that exhaust... Just an awesome awesome car, and a very cool guy, just to prove not all mustang owners are complete D-bags
