Personally I really liked the other wheels. But I guess these are more suited for what it does best. (which doesn't include stopping)

What other wheels? The Boyds? Still got 'em, but unless a rolling 100 MPH burnout is your thing, 17's don't work on it during playtime.
It stops just fine, Baer Eradispeeds and Hawk Pads, unless the track has a retarded short shutdown, the 'chute's not necessary most times.
Here's one from '08 with the 347 at the True Street Drags at Twiggs... The 454 has only 77 miles on it to date, we'll see if I can keep it together this time. (Don't even ask)

Out of the cave again, and on the way to the house- I'd better put this away while I'm ahead.
It can haz no more low- 9" rear and D/A torque arm- It's 1/4 " off the floorpan. It mainly looks like a cat in heat because of the 28.5" rear tires. 17's help things.
Get V6 rear bumper?
Wouldn't that give you more clearance on the re-paints
