But they are lucky they stopped there, because the Termi would have owned it the next year. And I like camaros. I also like the 5th gens. Well most of the time. Sometimes I look at them and go, what? But Lingenfelters ZL1 has the best sounding supercharger ever, even better than the Holden VXR8 Bathurst.

And wasnt there a CTS-V in the 11's with slicks? I like how everyone loves CTS-V's but hates 5th gens.

Blah, there was the LS6 in the C5 Z06...in what...'01? That's an easy gain over the LS1 and would have put the FBody right on par with a Termi...factory vs. factory.

    Factory ratings for LS1 in '02: 350/365?
Factory ratings for LS6 in '02: 385/385...and then later rated at 405/400 when the Terminator would have actually been in production. I've seen plenty of M6 FBody's run and stock or hell, even small bolt-ons Terminators...and whooptiedooooo, mid 12's. Stock LS1 cars with slicks have ran mid 12's. Ala, 12.69 anyone? Just saying that another 50+ HP/TQ would have put that car in basement 12's most likely.

    Because CTSV = sex.
5th Gen Camaro = Uglyness to the max.

Also, V owners are cool. 5th gen owners are tools.

And as Blue said, there's no comparing a current gen CTS-V and a 5th gen tub of lard.

If you dont like the 5th gen looks, thats fine I understand. All im saying is that the ZL1 has the same engine and suspension technology, but it weighs a lot less. The ZL1's engine is rated like 20 hp more (not much) but it did do a nurburgring lap 18 seconds quicker than the CTS-V, if im not mistaken.

EDIT: The ZL1 doesnt weigh a lot less, only like 100 lbs. less

I beg to differ. In terms of looks the camaro definately looks better, just much more aggressive lookin. To me the only thing that brings out the CTSv is the bulging hood otherwise it looks baluga-whaleish. However if i had to choose id probably take the CTSv for quality purposes as well.

CTSv will get you a classy lady, because its a Cadillac... most people won't recognize the difference.

The ZL1 will get you highschool drama, because its a Camaro... again, most people won't recognize the difference.

I will spend the 8 grand more and rock the Caddy.

High School girls don't know any better... not what I would consider to be a "bad*ss" car. Time and time again, its just a camaro. In the same respect that we dog a SRT-4... still a neon. A Corvette is a bad*ss car, it deserves the title, but the camaro, its just not in my book.

EDIT: by the same respect that it is just a Grand Prix. (before someone throws that back at me like its really an insult) Granted there are alot of bad*ss Grand Prix, and Regals, but they are built. You can build anything to be a bad*ss car, but when you have to make 600+ hp to get its fat *ss down the track at a decent time, I'm not impressed.
