Wow a 13-13.5? pitiful considerin a stock LS1 is just as fast if not faster. The main prob with all these new cars is all this extra weight thats added even though hp is thru the roof.Another example is the 2011 SRT8 charger and the 2012 one, 50 hp and 55lb ft torque difference but 200lbs added= same 0-60 and slower 1/4 mile.
04 GTP-3.6 pulley, custom tuned, Intake, headers, thrush exhaust, al104 plugs, 180* stat, shift kit, flipped mounts

I don't see how anyone could watch this video and think it could possibly be an accurate depiction of what the ZL1 should run at the track...

The question is not should, but rather statemet of DID. I'd say he's an accurate measure of the typical Gen 5 driver.

Give me a chisel, a hammer, pry bar...and a sandwich with extra bacon. It wouldn't even look like a 5th gen after a couple hours.

Read the article, they say low 12s with drags, the guy admits he sucked at drag racing.

Too be honest I think they made Camaro even uglier, I put it up there with the GTR ugly. Not to mention a 2ton+ weight is really disgusting too

The camaro is ugly, the GTR on the other hand is not.

I like the GTR body style... the power plant it makes... but I laugh at the transmissions "launch control" shelling ability.

The Camaro ... I feel about the same way, only toward the weight and actual performance. For the same price, you could buy a new base corvette vert and throw some mods and out run the camaro, but alot of people don't look at it that way. I feel the same about the mustang, props for the power, but its still a mustang at the end of the day... kinda like the STR4 lol... nice car, but its still a neon.

There's just something wrong with the body lines of the new Camaro, like they drew on paper to look tough and did not take the time to build a full size model and realize it looks more like a transformer toy then a car.

Those cars are ugly as Phuck... But it's their owners who really make me hate them.

the price tag really puts it out of reach for the people that want to drive them like they should be driven. the camaro is more of a status symbol than a muscle car anymore
99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - stock, in all of it's turbocharged awesomeness

Im tired of the HP hype. I want to see power to weight ratios. A semi has 500 hp too!, and weights a **** load. The camaro was at its prime in 02. That my 2 cents.
    99 GTP coupe
Stock, other than open cone filter.
