In spring of 2014 ford is going to introduce the all new 2015 mustang, complete with high output ecoboost engines, 8-speed transmission, all new exterior styling and yes independent link rear suspension among other things.

At that point my GTP will have about 100,000 miles on it and I would be ready for trade in on a new car, if ford keeps the price down and gets the car right, it would certainly be on my list, anyone else?

You drive a GP. I can't imagine it'll be within a reasonable price range for you. No offense intended... just most of us are cheap bastards.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.

    Not that it's slow...because an Ecoboost'd V6 would be no b1tch.

    But.

I'd just never own a Mustang...that's all. Personal preference.

When they build a 10 speed Mustang, I'll consider trading my Schwinn on one.

Yeah, I agree, the existing Stangs have never been impressive to me, the 2015 is going to be an all new car basically, hard to tell how it will perform. That sketch is iffy you you ask me, should look more like the evo concept car I think.

I could drive a more expensive car but considering I live like 1 mile for where I have worked for liked 25 years and really only drive occasionally to indiana on the weekends about 80 miles round trip, I really don't need an expensive car, beside when I bought my GTP in 2001 brand new it was a very nice car, after 10 years and 90,000 miles it is getting a little worn in the tooth, needs a tune-up real bad, but still is pretty powerful off the line and crusing on the highway.

You answered your own question though kinda...

$1,000 tops into your GTP you have owned since day one to get it back in tip top shape and maybe even upgrade it > $30,000 Mustang with a car payment, higher insurance, repair costs, etc.

    Right hand drive?
Who puts a f*ckin' ugly-ass front plate on a concept sketch?! No projector fogs? The fenders a part of the hood?

What did they do to the Mustang? I agree, that looks very simular to the Carmaro. I have always been a fan of the Mustangs. But if the new Mustangs are going to look like this, I think a lot of people will stop looking at them much less buy one. I personally like the current Mustang but the back of the car looks like they just gave up and thew something together. I like the '04 and older body-styles. I owned a 1997 Mustang coupe V6 for 2 years. I hated that there was basically no back seat room for passengers. But I liked the way it looked when I got done putting adding my own small changes to it. Personally if I had to pick a new Ford car/truck to drive I would have to pick the F-150 (5.0L or Eco-Boost V6) or the Fusion sport. I work as a detailer at a Ford Dealership. New cars are starting to look too much a like. Domestic car makers really need to get back in the game for designing cars.

Mustangs have been ugly since 05 and they are only making them uglier.
