    hi peoples.my brother has a 94 cutlass sup.
    and the brake lights dont work or the revers lights,turn signals work,tail lights work,i was reading something about a MFS.how can i find this and tested to make sure it works.or any other ideas as to what might be the problem.thank you

    sorry for the long wait, i have a 90 and i had real issues with the brake lights and it ended up being in the steering column, has it ever smoked?

    turn signal switch.... I know sounds funny but that most likely what causes this particular problem, had same issue in my 94 CS

    no, it has never smoked,i replaced the trany and it sit in the garage for about 1 1/2 years and when i took it out the brake lights didnt work

    change the swich first, when mine went bad the only way to get all the break lights on was to hold the turn signal down, press the brakes and have the driving lights on lol. mine was f'ed but it started with just the turn signal switch needing to be held down to make the signal work
